EBTECH WORKING IN PRISONS

Ebtech Glasshouse Systems completed the reroofing of a small widespan glasshouse at a prison in Kent.
Removing the old and worn polycarbonate sheets to be replaced with new clear 10mm thick twin wall sheets for better light transparency over an area of 400m²
Albeit straight forward, due to the age of the structure, some of the metal work had seen better days and required a little TLC.
As well as changing the roof panels, Ebtech also replaced all the vent operating mechanism for the three-bay widespan, which consisted of a continuous vent system in each bay operated via aluminium rack and pinions
A very successful project fulfilled under some adverse weather conditions
