Ebtech Glasshouse Systems in partnership with our Dutch Garden Centre supplier Smiemans have supplied and completed the construction of the new entrance canopy and glasshouse shop area at Tenterden Garden Centre in Kent.
The Glasshouse area was just under 200sqm plus the additional canopy on the front to provide a covered entrance way to the garden centre.
The glasshouse roof was clad with 60mm insulated sandwich panelling, whilst the walls were glazed with heat reflective insulated glass
The canopy roof was glazed with opaque polycarbonate
The glasshouse area was fairly small, but challenging non the less, as the structure had to fit in an angled area between an existing glasshouse and a Polytunnel, attaching to both structures.
A doorway between our glasshouse and the side wall of the polytunnel was provided to enable access to the plant area, despite the tunnel being at an awkward angle.
