Ebtech Glasshouse Systems have recently completed the renovation of a double and single screen system over two zones at the Nursery of Guernsey Clematis in the channel islands.
The first zone, which was the single screen replacement covering an area of 844.80m², the second zone covering the same area, but a double screen replacement, therefore total area screened was 2,534.40m²
The cloths supplied and installed in both zones were from the Ludvig Svensson range, Harmony 5220 O FR, this being mainly for shade purposes, providing a direct light shade value of 52% and diffused of 56% with an energy saving of only 20% due to the open weave design and additionally in zone 2 the Obscura 10070 FR WB + BW, a closed weave black out material to around 99.9% with an energy saving value of approx. 70%
With it being a pull / push system, we changed all the diablo wheels along with a few pull tubes and all the suspension wires
Energy saving sealing pelmets were used for the blackout install only
